Janine Mason is the founder of Real Women Australia and her mission is to empower the curvy women of Australia. According to her website, “Her mission is to give real women of Australia a voice; and to help those designers and stores providing real women with options, meet the needs of their market.” Not only is she trying to empower the women of Australia, but she is trying to promote the businesses and designers who realize plus size women have real fashion needs and deserve plus size clothing that fits and flatters their figures. Janine was chosen as one of the 100 most influential Melbournians of 2010 by The Age, and for the Momemtum Energy & 3AW's Small Business Success Award in June 2011.
